

I may not mean youLast night, I had the strangest dream, Wherein people seemed to care about what I'd dreamt. They looked into the light of my future and either smiled or wept, Instead of wondering how such a frail frame might carry me.I may not mean you
But what if they had, instead, done something so foul? I'd prefer it still to the ignoring and uncaring ignorance, For a hand to guide you along is some of life's sweetest bliss, No matter if they mouth attached forms a smile or a scowl.

But as the fog dissipates, I realize it has eluded me.
Yet a light still shines from beyond the horizon,
Which holds the power to overcome the perpetual pitch blackness of the unrelenting night.
From beyond my window, it ensnares me.
It seems an expert on my polarity.
And though this force is shrouded in mystery,
I am made to want nothing but to bathe in the glow of its overwhelming wonder.
